This unique position combines both veterinary assistant and client service responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with animals while also providing exceptional support to pet owners. Our team is dedicated to providing affordable services with kindness, respect, and compassion for both our patients and their families. Responsibilities Veterinary Assistant Duties Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures Prepare treatment areas and maintain cleanliness throughout the clinic Assist with treatments, vaccinations, and routine procedures Monitor animal comfort and well-being during visits Client Service & Administrative Duties Welcome clients and provide outstanding customer service Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries Process payments and maintain accurate records Educate clients about clinic services and post-visit care instructions Help create a positive, supportive experience for every client What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will possess: Excellent customer service and communication skills Genuine compassion for animals and the people attached to them A desire to help families access affordable veterinary care The ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in emotional situations Strong organizational and multitasking skills A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail Previous veterinary, animal care, medical office, or customer service experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who shares our mission and values.
