Job Description
Animal Medical Center is seeking a Kennel Worker to join our 3-doctor practice in Madisonville, Kentucky. We've been serving this community for over 30 years! Our hospital has a commitment to providing the highest quality patient care with exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is friendly, people-oriented, outgoing, has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and have a passion for working in veterinary medicine. Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to take direction and work with minimal supervision. Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Dependable attendance and transportation is required.

Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Exercise and play with animals to ensure their physical and mental well-being
- Monitor animals for any signs of illness or distress and report to the veterinary staff
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior Please note that this position may require occasional evening or weekend shifts based on the needs of the kennel.
