Overview Join us as a Veterinary Boarding Attendant and become a vital part of providing exceptional care for our furry guests! In this role, you will ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of animals staying with us, creating a positive experience for pets and their owners alike. Your dedication to animal care and customer service will help foster a welcoming environment where pets feel secure and loved during their stay. Duties Greet pet owners warmly and gather relevant information. Feed, water, and monitor animals according to established care protocols Administer basic pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing as needed or requested Maintain detailed records of each pet's care, behavior, and any concerns or incidents that arise during their stay Other responsibilities include giving medication, cleaning boarding areas, laundry, walking and other daily care Customer service skills are essential for communicating effectively with pet owners and coworkers Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning, bathing, and equipment handling Follow clinic protocol on animal handling A genuine passion for animal welfare combined with excellent communication skills makes you an ideal candidate for this energetic role Comfortable working with all breeds of dogs and cats Available on weekends and holidays
