Job Description
We are a well established, progressive, small animal practice in Fall River, Massachusetts. Detailed work environment with strong support staff, ultrasound, surgery suite with monitoring equipment, chemistry/hematology machines, full dental set up including dental radiology, computerized records, and more. Applicant must have experience providing effective assistance to veterinarians in all aspects of patient care and client service, including but not limited to: Greeting clients, obtain vital statistics from patients and histories from clients, client communication including preventative care and treatment plans, restraining animals, obtain blood and laboratory samples, administration of oral and injectable medications, filling prescriptions, obtaining radiographs, kennel responsibilities, maintaining cleanliness of the hospital and equipment, and reception duties such as answering telephones, scheduling appointments, checking in clients and admits, discussing estimates and obtaining payment for services. Applicant must be responsible and reliable, have a good work ethic, must show initiative, work well with others but also work independently, able to prioritize and multitask. •NOTE•This is a part-time
