Kennel Assistant/Veterinary Assistant

Veterinary/Kennel assistant opening. Duties include cleaning, feeding and caring for hospitalized dogs and cats as well as being responsible for maintaining the hospital's cleanliness. Other duties include, but are not limited to, answering the phone and assisting with treatments, restraint of animals, aid with setting up laboratory tests and helping to fill prescriptions. Weekends are a MUST as is being able to work independently. Weekends are shared with other staff. Candidate needs to be self-motivated and dependable. Coverage for holiday shifts are also required and are shared with other staff members. Computer skills are needed but will train. Experience is greatly preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
