In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinary technicians in delivering high-quality dental care to animals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with examinations and dental cleaning procedures as well as ensuring a clean and safe environment for both pets and staff. Dazzling Canines LLC is a mobile business so this job is required to travel everyday to different locations including house calls. Duties Assist our veterinary technicians during examinations and dental procedures by preparing instruments and equipment. Handle and restrain animals safely and effectively during examinations and treatments. Maintain cleanliness of equipment, work areas, and clinics/salons as required. Monitor animal behavior and health status, reporting any changes to the veterinary team. Provide basic grooming services such as nail trimming and ear cleaning. Educate pet owners on proper dental care, nutrition, and training techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with scheduling appointments as well as checking in/out clientele. Help maintain our social media accounts by capturing photos & videos of daily operations. Assist with marketing efforts including but not limited to distribution of marketing materials to partner locations, handing out brochures to local businesses. Skills Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology is essential. Experience with animal handling, restraint techniques, and kennel management is preferred. Basic understanding of dental terminology related to animal care is beneficial. Skills in dog training or behavioral management are advantageous. A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing exceptional care are critical for success in this role.
