Job Description

Description CARE Veterinary Center is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our Surgery team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Frederick, MD. About You You'll support our surgical and anesthesia teams by assisting veterinary technicians and DVMs throughout procedures, recovery and daily surgical operations. Your work will include preparing and positioning patients, monitoring anesthesia and hospitalized patients, and delivering attentive pre
  • and post-operative care.
You'll also help maintain surgical equipment, instrument sterility, and a clean, well-organized surgery suite, with a strong focus on laundry, stocking, and essential support tasks that keep surgical services running smoothly.
