Veterinary Assistant Augusta, ME 04330 $16

We are a small two-doctor practice looking to add an assistant. A good portion of the day includes helping to run appointments which start carside and then either transition to an exam room or involve the clients using a paired iPad in their car to communicate in real time with us in the exam room. In addition you will help with in-patient care, and learn to run labwork and take x-rays. This is a physical job
  • lifting and restraining dogs and cats is a large part of the position.
Preference will be given to someone with experience, but we will consider training someone reliable, with a good work ethic, that fits well with our animal care philosophy, and is willing and able to learn the needed skills to succeed with us. We have a Monday through Thursday work week with up to 30hrs available. Contact us today to set up your interview.
