Duties Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, and monitoring anesthesia levels. Provide comprehensive animal handling and restraint to ensure safety for pets, clients, and staff during examinations and treatments. Support pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration and recovery monitoring. Perform laboratory tasks such as sample collection, processing, and analysis to aid in diagnostics. Maintain accurate records of animal physiology, medical history, and treatment details using veterinary terminology. Requirements Certification or experience as a veterinary technician or assistant preferred; must be licensed or eligible for licensure where applicable.
