As a Veterinary Assistant, you will have the opportunity to: Greet clients and their pets before discussing patient history and current problems Assist with the restraint of cats and dogs Perform clinical laboratory procedures Administer oral medications to patients Aid in performing x-rays Fill patient prescriptions Assist in surgery and dental procedures
Our Ideal Candidate:
Is 18 years of age or older Has a genuine love for animals Has prior experience working as a
Veterinary Assistant:
is proficient in restraining patients, drawing blood, obtaining patient history, and assisting the Veterinarian and Veterinary Nurse in surgery and dental procedures Possess excellent client communication skills Has the availability to work up to two Saturdays a month At our family owned and operated practice, we all work together to accomplish excellent patient care.
