In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians and veterinary technicians by providing compassionate animal handling, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment. Duties Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for pets and staff Support veterinary technicians with medication administration, laboratory sample collection, and basic diagnostic tasks Handle pet care responsibilities including feeding, grooming, and monitoring animals' health status Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, kennels, and equipment following aseptic techniques to prevent infection Help manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, patient check-ins, and client communication Support animal husbandry activities including cleaning cages, feeding schedules, and general care routines Assist with animal catheterization, understanding of animal anatomy and physiology to ensure proper procedures are followed Experience Prior kennel experience or animal handling background is highly valued Experience working in veterinary clinics or with veterinary technicians is preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, critical care practices, and pet care standards is beneficial Familiarity with laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques enhances your ability to contribute effectively Hands-on experience with dog handling, equine care, or large animal management is a plus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for animals meets professional growth!
