Job Description

About Us Pennsylvania Veterinary Care is a compassionate veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional care for our patients and outstanding service to their owners. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Veterinary Cleaner/Kennel Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our animals, clients, and staff. Responsibilities Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, exam rooms, treatment areas, and common spaces Launder and replace animal bedding, towels, and blankets Feed and provide fresh water to boarding and hospitalized animals as directed Walk dogs and assist with basic animal care needs Monitor animals for signs of illness, stress, or discomfort and report concerns to veterinary staff Dispose of waste and maintain sanitation standards throughout the facility Stock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low Assist veterinary staff with animal handling and other duties as needed Maintain a professional and positive attitude with clients and coworkers Qualifications Previous kennel, animal care, cleaning, or veterinary experience preferred but not required Comfortable working around dogs, cats, and other animals of varying sizes and temperaments Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Pay:
$13.80 - $14.80 per hour
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
