Kennel Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and provide excellent care for our furry guests. Responsibilities & Experience

• Assist in the daily care of animals including feeding, watering, and walking
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
• Monitor animal behavior and report any health concerns to the veterinary staff
• Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
• Assist with animal handling during examinations and procedures
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, pet sitting, or animal care is preferred
• Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments (leash pulling and jumped on)
• Experience with heavy lifting as some animals may require assistance and other heavy lifting.
