Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Experienced Veterinary Assistant Wanted We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and client support.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures Properly restrain animals for exams, treatments, and diagnostics Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under supervision Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, etc.) Maintain accurate medical records Clean and sterilize equipment and exam rooms Support surgical and dental procedures as needed Provide clear communication and education to clients Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant Strong animal handling and restraint skills Knowledge of vaccines, medications, and basic medical procedures Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude Excellent communication and client service skills
