Experience using Pulse veterinary software a plus but not required. Must be friendly, outgoing and a team player with a knowledge of the veterinary field. Must be able to handle multiple phone lines and be willing to assists the doctors and technicians in the back and in exam rooms. Phlebotomy experience is a plus. Some Saturday's and evenings are a must. The staff are like family and have a great sense of humor and have a lot of fun while pursuing their career path. Summary As an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. You will utilize your core skills in veterinary terminology, animal handling, and pet care to assist clients, doctors and technicians to ensure their pets receive the best care possible. With a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to excellence, you will help create a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Greet and assist clients with their pets, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records using Pulse. Provide information on veterinary services and pet care to clients. Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during visits. Process payments and manage medical collections as needed. Support veterinary staff with basic animal care and restraint during examinations. Help restrain pets for doctors/technicians Draw up vaccines Set up lab specimens Assist in exam rooms if needed Help maintain clinic cleanliness

Pay:

$15.00 - $22.00 per hour
