Job Description

Job Summary Full-time (30-40 hours/week) positions available at Glenstone Veterinary Clinic in Springfield, MO. Glenstone Veterinary Clinic is hiring for both Veterinary technician/assistant and receptionist positions. Located in the heart of Springfield, we are a fast-paced, family-friendly, locally owned and operated, full service small animal veterinary clinic with Missouri's only drive through exam room. Employees enjoy a 4-day work week, 1-hour long lunch break, uniform allowance and quarterly bonuses. Ideal candidates have experience in a veterinary clinic, positive attitude towards pets and people and a strong work ethic. Serious inquiries only. Please submit resumes and cover letters by email.
Veterinary Technician/Assistant Responsibilities:
Assisting veterinarians in patient care, appointments and surgical procedures Recording medical history in veterinary software Collecting laboratory samples Operating laboratory machines Providing good nursing care for patients Filling prescribed medications Administering medications Anesthetic monitoring Patient recovery Effictive communication with clients and team members
Veterinary Receptionist Responsibilities:
Warmly greeting and assisting clients and patients Answering and managing phone calls Scheduling appointments in veterinary software Managing patient and client charts in veterinary software Follow up phone calls Filling medications Pre-anesthetic check-in procedures Processing payments Communicating effectively with clients and team members
Pay:
$16.00-$22.00 per hour
