Job Description
We are looking to add a full-time experienced veterinary technician/assistant to join our team. One to two years experience minimum in a full-service veterinary clinic preferred. We're looking for someone that is honest, reliable, communicates well, has a positive outlook, is hard working, and is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to aiding in exam rooms, treatment, and surgery. Proficiency will be desired in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, surgical monitoring including intubation, obtaining radiographs, and animal restraint. Answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting clients, and general cleaning will also be included in daily job responsibilities. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Previous experience with an understanding of the veterinary medical field is required. Business hours are Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm. No weekends.
