This position is ideal for someone looking for a calmer, more personal alternative to traditional clinic or ER environments. Mobile veterinary medicine is very different from hospital medicine, so flexibility, reliability, and comfort working independently are especially important. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Position Details ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Part-time Typically 2-3 days per week Working hours vary, but are generally 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Some days may begin as early as 8:15 AM, but no later than 4:30 PM Starting at $18/hour ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Responsibilities ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ride along with the veterinarian during house call appointments Assist with patient handling and restraint Help with diagnostics, medications, treatments, and basic appointment support Assist with appointment setup and cleanup Carry supplies and help organize equipment and the vehicle Provide friendly, professional support to clients and pets Communicate compassionately and professionally with clients Support a calm, low-stress experience for pets and families Follow directions from the veterinarian during visits Assist with visit follow-up, client communication, marketing, and social media tasks as needed ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Requirements ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Veterinary assistant or animal handling experience preferred Comfortable and confident working with dogs and cats of varying temperaments Reliable, punctual, and professional Strong communication skills Comfortable working in a mobile environment and adapting throughout the day Able to lift and carry supplies as needed Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Must have dependable transportation to the meeting location ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ To Apply ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Please send your resume along with a brief introduction including your veterinary/animal experience, availability, and contact information.
