We are a growing veterinary hospital in Charlotte, NC looking to hire a new veterinary assistant! We are seeking an experienced candidate to compliment our professional and compassionate team. The ideal applicant should be motivated, able to multi-task, detailed oriented, caring, reliable and adaptable.

Primary responsibilities:

Provide excellent patient care Obtaining vitals and patient history Patient record keeping/updates Surgery and Anesthesia protocols Medication prep and administration Surgical prep and recovery Radiographs, blood draws, bandage changes

Job Requirements:

Great communication skills Ability to work with small animals in a safe and caring manner for both patient and employees Perform job duties in a professional and mature manner Familiarity with surgical equipment operations and computers Work requires lifting and carrying animals over 50lbs and walking or standing for extended periods or time.
