ARE YOU THE APPLICANT WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR?
We are a privately owned veterinary clinic in Charlotte, NC looking to hire a new veterinary assistant! We are seeking an experienced candidate to compliment our professional and compassionate team. The ideal applicant should be motivated, able to multi-task, detailed oriented, caring, reliable and adaptable.
Primary responsibilities:
Provide excellent patient care Obtaining vitals and patient history Patient record keeping/updates Surgery and Anesthesia protocols Medication prep and administration Surgical prep and recovery Radiographs, blood draws, bandage changes
Job Requirements:
Great communication skills Ability to work with small animals in a safe and caring manner for both patient and employees Perform job duties in a professional and mature manner Familiarity with surgical equipment operations and computers Work requires lifting and carrying animals over 50lbs and walking or standing for extended periods or time. Ability to Work with a flexible schedule including alternate Saturdays. Please respond with a cover letter describing why you would like to join our team.
