• Full-time We are currently seeking a full-time veterinary assistant/technician for our busy, two doctor small animal hospital.

Responsibilities include assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, monitoring surgery, and maintaining a clean work environment. We work at a fast pace, so staying organized is key! Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm and some holidays.

• Sterilize equipment and clean examination tables and rooms
• Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinations
• Administer medications
• Scheduling appointments and calling patients
• Advise pet owners on medications and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable being around animals (cats, dogs)
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.
