Page Point Animal Hospital + Pet Resort in the Brier Creek area is looking for enthusiastic, hard-working Veterinary Technicians/Assistants (we call them Patient Advocates) to join our busy, 5-doctor practice. Our Patient Advocates are the lifeline of our hospital, and their role goes far beyond patient care — they are the heartbeat of our client and pet experience. What You'll Do No two days look the same at Page Point! As a Veterinary Technician/Assistant, you'll: Greet clients and pets by name with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor Assist in every area of the hospital — reception, client education, pharmacy, laboratory, ICU, surgery, dentistry, and radiology Perform lab work, run in-house diagnostics, take x-rays, and provide dental cleanings with full-mouth radiography Place IV catheters, monitor anesthesia, and assist with surgical prep and recovery Deliver treatments like cold laser therapy and advanced preventive care Educate clients using cloud-based software and up-to-date technology Provide safe, low-stress handling while practicing Fear Free techniques Support veterinarians in exams, surgery, and patient care Juggle a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills while maintaining teamwork and morale ✅ What We're Looking For At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant (required) A clear passion for pets and dedication to their well-being An outgoing, upbeat personality and willingness to learn Strong communication skills , both verbal and written Previous experience with preventive care, surgery, and dentistry is a plus Compensation & Benefits We know your passion for pet care is why you chose this profession — and we believe your well-being matters too!
