Full Time Pay:

$13-17/hour, based on experience

Alpine Animal Hospital in Murphy NC We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This full-time position is perfect for someone is dependable, coachable and friendly. Ideal for someone who loves animals, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a supportive veterinary team.

Schedule:

Full-time hours (avg 36-40 hrs), NO WEEKENDS or

What You'll Do:

Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, lab sampling, treatments, and surgeries Provide gentle handling and care for animals Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies Communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner Maintain documentation for communications, treatments, etc.

What We're Looking For:

Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred, but not required Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work well with a team and follow instructions Comfort with both animals and their humans Registered or Licensed Veterinary Technicians welcome to apply with pay scale commiserate to experience.
