Responsibilities Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety for both animals and staff during examinations and procedures Support veterinary technicians with medication administration, sample collection, and laboratory procedures Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques in treatment areas to uphold health standards Help with pet care duties such as feeding, bathing, grooming, and monitoring recovery Manage front desk tasks including client check-ins, appointment scheduling, and answering inquiries with a friendly attitude Support animal husbandry activities to promote overall well-being of patients in our care Assist with specialized procedures such as animal catheterization or handling animals with specific physiological needs Qualifications Prior kennel experience or animal care background preferred; enthusiasm for working with animals is essential Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and restraint techniques Experience in veterinary clinic settings or as a veterinary assistant highly valued Ability to handle dogs and other animals confidently and compassionately Strong understanding of pet care practices including medication administration and basic animal husbandry Familiarity with laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques is a plus Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for animals makes a real difference!
