We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Veterinary Assistant to collaborate and aid the team in delivering outstanding care. We are seeking an individual who is team oriented and demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills in addition to assisting experience. We welcome candidates who bring the following skills and attributes: 2+ years' experience working as a Veterinary Assistant (required) Certified or skilled in AAFP Cat Friendly and/or Fear Free handling (required) Skilled in surgical preparation, recovery, and anesthesia monitoring Experienced in safe and effective restraint for blood draws, IV catheter placement, and treatments Proficient in collecting, preparing, and interpreting a variety of diagnostic tests Proficient in capturing high-quality digital radiographs Knowledgeable in DEA and OSHA regulations and compliance Up to date knowledge of heartworm, flea, and parasite prevention products Comfortably navigating practice management software, Pulse, and Microsoft Suite Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted, and to stand/sit for extended periods of time "My daughter does work there and she has been treated very well… by everyone." - Client Google review ACC cultivates a collaborative, supportive, and trust-driven culture..
