We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital, is passionate about animal care, works well in a team environment, and provides excellent client support and communication.
Duties:
Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas Administer medications and treatments as directed Maintain accurate medical records (Idexx Neo Software) Monitor anesthesia during surgeries Perform laboratory tests and analyze results (Idexx) Take Digital X-rays Support pet owners with professionalism and empathy
  • Assist the veterinarian in examinations
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Veterinary Assistant (2 years minimum).
  • Proficient in veterinary terminology and medical procedures
  • Blood draws & monitoring is a plus !
