Job Description
Busy single doctor practice with 2 locations looking for an experienced Veterinary assistant/kennel assistant. Candidates with prior animal hospital/boarding/grooming experience will have top priority, but willing to train the right candidate. We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience. The 2 locations are at Spring Valley Animal Hospital in Monsey, NY and the Cat Care Clinic of the Nyacks in Nyack, NY. Candidates should be willing to work at either location as needed. Daily duties include but not limited to: Care of boarding or hospitalized pets Cleaning of cages and other animal hospital areas Communicating clearly with the Doctor and all animal hospital staff Collecting urine or fecal samples Assisting the doctor in appointments and surgeries Learning vaccination protocols & medications Plus additional tasks and responsibilities Love of animals is a MUST!
