Full time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

All Creatures is a busy 3 doctor veterinary practice that provides care for dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and zoo animals. We are looking for a receptionist/assistant to join our team. The primary functions of this job include: Making appointments, collecting payments, and discharging patients Operating a multi line phone system Scanning, faxing, texting, and emailing correspondence Recording all forms of communication via electronic medical records Patient restraint Walking and feeding hospitalized patients Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hospital Assisting technicians in every day responsibilities Training new staff once fully experienced Other duties as assigned Working knowledge of vaccines, common medications, and common conditions is preferred!

Hours of Operation:

Monday•

Friday:

7:45am•6pm

Saturdays:

7:45am•1pm

Requirements:

Full time open availability Rotating Saturdays are required Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time in order to properly assist with animal restraint Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time 18 years of age or older High School education or equivalent
