Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Hudson Veterinary Clinic Hudson Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. We are seeking a receptionist/veterinary assistant that is organized and detail oriented, that is able to multi task in a fast-paced environment. Receptionist responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, answering telephones, setting up new client accounts, preparing medical files, putting medical notes into electronic file, completing financial transactions and being a friendly face to greet clients. Candidate will need to be proficient with computers and be able to learn practice management software.

Veterinary Assistant responsibilities include:

restraining pets for the doctor, filling and administering medication to animals, understanding vaccine schedules, basic medication knowledge, cleaning the exam room/clinic, and client education. Veterinary receptionist and/or assistant experience is preferred but we will train a motivated individual who is willing to learn. We are hiring for a part time position. Evening and Saturday hours are required. Hourly wage will be dependent on experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and spend extended periods of time standing and walking.
