What we're looking for: Veterinary Assistant (Part Time or Full Time) We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated veterinary assistant to join our growing team at our new veterinary practice. Ideally you'll… Possess a strong work ethic Have a genuine love for animals Be experienced with the teamwork approach Work well with all members of hospital team Have excellent communication skills Our values: Respect Integrity Honesty Accountability Diligence Perseverance Discipline Your responsibilities: Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas. Provide compassionate animal handling and care for a variety of species, including dogs, cats, avian, exotics and small mammals. Can effectively restrain pets even when large or difficult. Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, maintaining patient records and checking clients out.
