Cat Tales is looking for a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated feline-only practice in Holland, Ohio! Our team is small but mighty — a close-knit, supportive group that values collaboration, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an experienced and passionate DVM who is committed to progressive medicine and ongoing hospital growth. We continue to invest in our patients, clients, and team through upgraded technology and equipment, including dental radiology, digital radiography, and ultrasound capabilities, allowing us to provide elevated diagnostics and patient care right within our practice. What You'll Do Assist the veterinarian with examinations, treatments, and procedures Properly restrain feline patients using low-stress handling techniques Support surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring assistance Obtain patient histories and communicate effectively with clients Prepare laboratory samples and assist with diagnostics Maintain clean and organized treatment and exam areas Help create a welcoming and compassionate environment for both clients and patients Work collaboratively with the team to support daily hospital operations What We're Looking For Veterinary Assistant experience preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important Passion for feline medicine and patient care Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, motivated, and eager to grow professionally Fear Free or feline-handling experience is a plus Why Join Cat Tales?
