Job Description
At Family Pet Hospital , we believe pets are family — and we're looking for a compassionate, skilled VA or RVT to join our team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive, collaborative clinic where high-quality care and teamwork go hand-in-hand. What You'll Do Assist veterinarians during exams and surgeries, ensuring patient safety and a sterile environment Perform routine lab work (blood, urinalysis, etc.) and assist with radiographs (including dental) Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Monitor vitals and patient behavior before, during, and after procedures Provide safe and effective animal restraint techniques Support dental procedures and patient care Maintain accurate, detailed medical records Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health What We're Looking For The ideal candidate brings: Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, anatomy, and procedures Proficiency in lab techniques and familiarity with catheterization Knowledge of aseptic and critical care practices Skills in handling, restraint, and basic animal husbandry Compassion, communication, and a commitment to excellent patient care Why Join Family Pet Hospital?
