Job Description

Job Summary We are a small privately owned practice with a mission of increasing accessibility to quality veterinary care. Our culture centers on empathy, compassion, teamwork and work ethic. We started our mobile general practice service 3 years ago and this year opened our brick and mortar clinic. We have opportunities available for individuals wanting to grow, and we are in search of honest, hardworking professionals who are dedicated to providing quality care. We have multiple positions available for veterinary assistants with flexible scheduling options. Come help us build our practice! Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures. Provide excellent animal care and compassion. Administer medications as directed by the Veterinarian. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Perform laboratory tests such as blood panels and urinalysis. Ensure cleanliness of the clinic by following proper sanitation protocols. Educate pet owners on proper pet care and health maintenance. Assist at the front desk with scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Skills Candidates should possess a combination of required skills and experience, including: Kennel experience Experience in veterinary critical care Front desk/receptionist skills Proficient in animal restraint techniques Knowledge of medication administration protocols General veterinary experience preferred Familiarity with veterinary terminology Comprehensive pet care knowledge Understanding of animal physiology and anatomy Skills in animal catheterization procedures Laboratory experience in a veterinary setting Previous veterinary assistant/technician or clinic experience We invite passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to our team while providing exceptional care for animals to apply.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
