Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience working with animals in a veterinary or similar setting.

Basic understanding of animal care and handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification as a veterinary assistant or technician.

Experience in a fast-paced veterinary clinic or animal hospital.

Knowledge of veterinary software and record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and medical procedures.

Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during treatments.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including surgical and treatment areas.

Prepare and administer medications as directed by the veterinary team.

Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions and follow-up appointments.

Communicate effectively within a team to help facilitate a smooth workflow.
