Veterinary Assistant

Please read on and consider a position as a Veterinary Assistant at Macungie Animal Hospital. We want to add a team member to our medical support team. The person will be in charge of prepping exam rooms for patients, scrubbing surgical instruments, restocking supplies, doing laundry and general facility upkeep. As your progress in your abilities, the opportunity to learn to process lab work and help with pets may be added. The position pays between $12.50 and $14.00 dollars per hour depending on your experience and would be part time or full time. Shift hours might be assigned during any of our open times which are Monday and Thursday 8 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 2 PM. This individual MUST be able to work without supervision and stay on task throughout their scheduled day.
