Kennel Technician

## Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and provide excellent care for our furry guests. This role involves assisting with the daily care, feeding, and exercise of animals in our facility. ## Duties

• Feed and water animals according to schedules and feeding instructions
• Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and yards
• Monitor animal behavior for signs of illness or distress
• Provide basic grooming such as bathing and brushing
• Assist with animal handling, restraint, and transportation
• Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior ## Requirements
• Experience in pet care or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of animal behavior and basic health care
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Certification as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician is a plus
