Regular social events On-the-job training Company perks Lively atmosphere Safe work environment Growth opportunities We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be knowledgeable in all aspects of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include providing medical care to animals, assisting veterinarians in examinations and procedures, administering medications, collecting samples for laboratory testing, and providing support to clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administer medications and vaccinations to patients. Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating patients. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients. Provide assistance with animal restraint and handling. Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis, blood counts, and skin scrapings. Monitor vital signs of patients, including temperature, pulse, and respiration rate. Educate clients on proper pet care and nutrition.

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
