Job Description

Hillcrest Animal Hospital, serving the Simpsonville community since 1986, is more than just a clinic—it is a recognized benchmark for quality veterinary care. You will be joining an elite and experienced practice as we are an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facility, regularly undergoing evaluations to meet or exceed AAHA's high standards across surgery, patient care, and diagnostics. The community confirms this commitment to excellence, having Voted us "Best Veterinarian of the Upstate" and helping us maintain an excellent 4.7-star Google rating. If you are looking for a highly respected practice environment, this is your opportunity to do your best work alongside four dedicated DVMs, including our Lead Veterinarian. When you join the Hillcrest team, you become part of a larger network that actively supports your professional development. We believe in providing robust programs to help all teammates achieve their career goals, whether that means focusing on advanced skills or moving into a leadership position. Our culture prioritizes compassionate care for both patients and the veterinary team. As a doctor, you will have access to internal specialty consultations and resources designed to support complex cases, ensuring you have the infrastructure you need to succeed within a supportive environment. Our commitment to medical excellence is held to the highest standard, covering nearly every aspect of the hospital including diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, and emergency services. We offer comprehensive small animal services including Wellness and Prevention, Testing and Diagnostics, Advanced Care, Surgical Procedures, and Urgent Care. To ensure optimal patient experiences, Hillcrest Animal Hospital is also a Cat Friendly Certified Practice, a global initiative designed to elevate care for cats by reducing stress for the cat, caregiver, and the entire veterinary team. This dedication to specific patient needs allows you to practice progressive and compassionate medicine every day. Simpsonville, SC, located in the dynamic Upstate region, offers the perfect blend of established community charm and accessible metropolitan amenities. The community has consistently demonstrated its dedication to quality veterinary care by voting us "Best Veterinarian of the Upstate." This means you will be working in a supportive environment where pet owners are deeply committed partners in their pet's healthcare journey. This fantastic location offers a high quality of life, giving you the time and space outside of the hospital to recharge and grow. At Mission Pet Health, we do things a little differently! As part of our hiring process, we invite candidates to complete a short online assessment so we can better understand your skills and strengths. If you are being considered for the position, you will receive an e-mail from a Mission Pet Health recruiter with a link to complete the assessment at your convenience.
