Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care, including examinations, vaccinations, and procedures Obtain vital signs, administer medications, and perform laboratory tests as needed Prepare patients for surgery and assist with post-operative care Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Provide exceptional client service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner Participate in continuing education and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Requirements:

2 year experience preferred as Veterinary Assistant or related experience. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Compassion for both patients and their owners
