Veterinary Assistant

Key City Veterinary Clinic is seeking a responsible, flexible, teachable, pet-loving, and people-loving veterinary technician assistant for our progressive small animal hospital. As a Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will start from the ground up, assisting the technicians and doctors with daily duties, while also helping take care of our boarding pets. Veterinary Technician Assistant skills/responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Restraining animals for examinations, nail trims, blood draws etc. Assisting and overseeing technician appointments Cleaning kennels, restocking inventory and other supplies Assisting the technicians and/or doctors with various tasks Walking and feeding animals Exceptional customer service skills and a willingness to help others Our belief is to provide our patients with the kind of compassion and superior healthcare that we would expect for our own beloved pets and we want a team member who also believes in this same philosophy. • Full-time 35-40 hours per week
• Must be able to arrive to work by 7:25am.
• Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. Must be available to work rotating boarding shifts occasionally (1-2 hours to take care of boarders).
• We are closed for all major holidays!
