We are seeking a motivated and dependable Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a passion for patient care, and a desire to grow within the field of veterinary surgery.•About the Role As a Technician Assistant at VROC, you'll play a key role in supporting our surgical and treatment teams through every step of the patient journey. This hands-on position involves assisting with patient preparation and recovery, maintaining surgical suites and sterile equipment, and ensuring the hospital runs smoothly each day. You'll work closely with experienced technicians and surgeons in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, gaining exposure to advanced orthopedic procedures, imaging, and perioperative care. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and build a foundation for a long-term career in veterinary surgery.•Key Responsibilities Assist technicians and surgeons with patient preparation, recovery, and movement throughout the hospital Maintain cleanliness and organization of surgical suites, treatment areas, and kennels Prepare and restock surgical and anesthesia supplies, ensuring readiness for each case Clean, wrap, and sterilize instruments and equipment following established protocols Support daily laundry, waste management, and general facility upkeep to maintain a safe and efficient environment Handle patients with care, compassion, and attention to safety under technician supervision Demonstrate flexibility by assisting wherever needed to keep the hospital running smoothly•
What We're Looking For Experience:
1-2 years of veterinary experience, preferrably as a tech assistant
Growth Oriented:
Reliable, adaptable, eager to learn new skills, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care and supporting surgical excellence.
Team Player:
Collaborative attitude, working seamlessly with surgeons, technicians, and client service staff.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move patients or equipment up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.•Why Join VROC?
