Job Description

Kennel Technician / Room Assistant - Healthy Paws Animal Hospital Looking for more than just a job with animals? At Healthy Paws Animal Hospital, every role matters. We're hiring a Kennel Technician / Room Assistant to support our doctors and technicians in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in veterinary medicine, but it's also a role that requires strong work ethic, teamwork, and attention to detail .
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
Cleaning kennels, cages, exam rooms, and hospital areas (a large part of the role) Feeding, walking, and monitoring boarded and hospitalized animals Safely handling and restraining animals during exams and treatments Assisting veterinarians and technicians throughout the day Laundry, stocking, and keeping the clinic running smoothly Observing and reporting changes in patient condition What It Takes to

Schedule & Details:
Full-time (~35 hours/week) 4-day work week Rotating weekend and holiday kennel duties What to
Expect:
This role is about 70% cleaning and facility care, 20% animal handling, and 10% the fun stuff. It's physically demanding and sometimes messy, but it's essential, meaningful work and a great way to get your foot in the door in veterinary medicine.
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
