Do you enjoy mentoring others and helping students build successful careers? We are seeking a Program Director to lead our Ophthalmology Assistant Program and help develop the next generation of eye care professionals. This is a great opportunity for a certified ophthalmology professional who wants to combine clinical expertise with teaching and leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations of the Ophthalmology Assistant Program Teach courses in a hybrid environment (in-person and online) Monitor student attendance, grades, and academic progress Create and oversee lab training experiences Coordinate externship placements and required documentation Advise and support students throughout the program Maintain curriculum quality and industry relevance Ensure compliance with accrediting, state, and federal standards Collaborate with faculty, leadership, and advisory boards Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician Current COA, COT, or COMT certification required Leadership or supervisory experience required Teaching or training experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Why Join Us?
