We provide affordable vaccine, wellness and minor illness services through outdoor mobile pop-up clinics across south texas. Our clinics can be fast paced, community focused, and see upwards of 100+ pets in a day. If you enjoy staying busy, working with animals, and making veterinary care accessible to the community, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Safely restrain dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. Assist veterinarians and technicians with vaccines, blood draws, testing and treatments. Prepare and organize vaccines, medications, and medical supplies. Obtain weights and assist with patient intake. Educate clients regarding vaccines, heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and follow up care. Maintain accurate records and ensure efficient patient flow. Assist with clinic setup, breakdown, loading and unloading inventory. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the day. Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service. Qualifications Previous veterinary assistant preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with animal handling experience. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high- volume environment. Ability to safely lift and restrain pets and assist with larger animals using team lifting. Strong communication and customer service skills. Bilingual is a HUGE plus! Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various clinic locations. Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout a full work day. Weekend availability is required. Schedule Primarily weekends- currently every 2 weeks, but growth may have us out every weekend with a month schedule in advance. Hours vary by clinic locations.
