The ideal candidate will support daily clinic operations, assist the veterinarian and technicians with patient care, and ensure a positive experience for pet owners. This role is vital in providing high-quality animal care and maintaining a clean, organized clinic environment. Prior experience in veterinary settings, animal handling, and familiarity with veterinary terminology are highly valued. Responsibilities Assist with animal restraint during examinations and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff Assisting the doctor or technician as needed Performing simple laboratory tests Administer medications accurately following veterinary instructions Cleaning cages and feeding animals Bathing animals Maintaining general facility cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping. Candidate must be able to lift up to 45lbs without assistance. Rotating weekend kennel duties are required. Experience is preferred and additional job duties are dependent upon candidate's experience. Salary is dependent upon experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Technician experience would qualify for higher level of pay. This position requires a compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Candidates should be committed to providing exceptional animal care while adhering to safety standards.

Pay:

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
