Veterinary Technicians and Assistants for Urgent Care and Emergency

Bark City Veterinary Specialists is a growing, fast paced and ever-expanding Veterinary Specialty Hospital that is looking to the future of Veterinary Emergent Medicine in Summit County. We are expanding into permanent Urgent Care mid-November and will be growing into a full ER hospital in the not too distant future. We are looking for Emergency/ER technicians and assistants that thrive meeting the challenges emergent medicine brings. That can work days/nights/weekends, and swing as we grow the emergent services offering. Skills needed-

• Computer and software skills
• Client and patient care and customer service
• Phlebotomy- Blood draws, infusion/transfusion skills
• Radiology-Ability to take great x-rays and knows or is willing to learn CT
• Pharmacology and drug calculations
• Ability to run emergent cases
• Surgical assisting skills
• Anesthesiology skills
• Wound management and bandaging skills
• Animal Anatomy
• Safe restraint and handling skills
• Fluid management skills
• Ability to stay calm in emergency cases and CPR while providing lifesaving care Our medical support staff means the world to us, and we cater to a positive staff that feels like family.

We offer $22.00 to $26.00 depending on experience, position, and licensing. There is a $2.00 differential for all of Saturday/Sunday, and nights from 9 pm to 7 am.
