Job Description
Franklin Farm Veterinary Clinic is an independent practice seeking a part-time licensed veterinary technician or veterinary assistant to join our growing team. We see canine and feline patients and practice fear free techniques, and offer professional fear free training. We work closely with our patients and their pet parents so that our patients receive the best individualized care. We cultivate long-term relationships with our clients and their pets. Skill set includes providing quality veterinary care for all pets, advocate for our patients, educate clients on all aspects of pet health, and ensure a safe and effective hospital environment. We will utilize your skills and training in: anesthesia digital radiology dentistry digital dental radiology ultrasound therapeutic laser treatment assisting in acupuncture fear free handling client education written/verbal communication and record keeping. We provide on the job training, as well. We use Avimark veterinary software and are paperless. We utilize Idexx for our in-house and outside laboratory. We are located in Northern Virginia and close to most everything: schools, shopping, culture, night life of DC, and Virginia wine country. We offer our part-time employees excellent compensation and part-time benefits. We also mentor veterinary technician students.
