Angels of Assisi is seeking a Veterinary Surgery Assistant to support daily surgical and clinical operations in our veterinary facility. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient surgical environment while ensuring safe and humane handling of animals. Key Responsibilities Prepare, clean, and sterilize surgical packs, instruments, and equipment Assist with inventory management, including stocking, organizing, and tracking medical supplies Safely and humanely assist with loading and unloading animals onto transport vehicles Clean and maintain the surgical suite before, during, and after procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal holding areas and kennels throughout the day Perform end-of-day cleaning and sanitation of all clinical and surgical areas Support general animal care and handling under the supervision of veterinary staff Work Environment This position works in a fast-paced veterinary clinical setting that requires attention to detail, adherence to sanitation protocols, and a strong commitment to animal welfare.
