As a Veterinary Assistant you will: Assist veterinarians in appointments and treatments Perform technical duties such as proper restraint, radiographic positioning, and fill medications Provide client education in pet care Communicate medical treatment plans Perform laboratory tests Who We're Looking For a Team Member Caring, compassionate individuals with: A high school diploma or equivalent is required Be able to handle a high paced environment and be a successful multitasker Possess a high level of interest in customer service and the ability to communicate with clients and fellow team members not just pets The ability to meet the physical demands of working a shift standing, squatting, walking, lifting and carrying 40 lbs unassisted The ability to work around substances such as animal saliva, blood, urine, fecal material, vomit, etc. Comfortable and able to work with all breeds, temperaments, and sizes of dogs and cats Willingness to learn and grow with our company
