Job Description

Animal Vision Center of Virginia (AVCVA) Animal Vision Center of Virginia is a specialty veterinary ophthalmology practice with two locations in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. AVCVA is dedicated to providing the highest level of ophthalmic care to our pet patients while supporting their owners with clear, compassionate communication, treatment plans, and education regarding their pet's ocular condition. We are seeking a motivated, upbeat, and client service-oriented Veterinary Assistant/client care liasone to join our growing team!
Position Details location:
Chesapeake (Great Bridge) and Virginia Beach (Town Center) Veterinary experience required: Minimum 2 year part time (20hrs) with potential for full time (34hrs) Ideal Candidate The ideal team member is: Friendly, professional, and compassionate Comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty practice Organized with strong multitasking skills Passionate about client communication and patient care A dependable team player with a positive attitude Responsibilities Greeting clients and patients Answering phones and scheduling appointments Assisting veterinarians and technicians as needed Maintaining accurate medical records Providing client education and support Helping ensure smooth daily hospital operations Requirements At least 2 year of experience in the veterinary field Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work at both locations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills If you are passionate about veterinary medicine and enjoy working with both pets and people, we would love to hear from you!
