Veterinary Assistant - Urgent Care Pet Urgent Care of Winchester | Winchester, VA Full-Time or Part-Time Pet Urgent Care is a growing veterinary urgent care hospital seeking a compassionate, dependable Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new practice while providing exceptional care to pets and their families. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments Safely restrain patients for exams and procedures Obtain patient histories and assist with triage Collect samples, perform diagnostics, and take radiographs Maintain medical records and support client communication Help keep the hospital clean, organized, and well-stocked Qualifications Previous veterinary assistant experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, reliable, and eager to learn Weekend availability is required Compensation & Benefits $20-$25/hour, depending on experience Health insurance 401(k) with employer match Employee pet care discounts Continuing education opportunities Flexible scheduling Join a supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality urgent care and building something special for pets and their families in the Shenandoah Valley.
